Travel
We strongly recommend that you check the travel requirements for entering the United Kingdom before you travel. Please refer to the government website here for the most up to date information.
Safety
Our attendees’ safety is our primary concern and we are working closely with the hotel to ensure a smooth and safe event.
In addition to following the latest government guidelines, all attendees will have to provide proof of their vaccination status or evidence of a negative antigen test to enter the event.
Vaccinated attendees
If you are a UK national, you can use the covid certificate issued by the NHS. We would strongly recommend you bring a paper copy with you.
If you are vaccinated outside of the UK, you will need to bring proof of your vaccination with you to the event.
This must include personal information (first and last name etc), type of vaccine, vaccination country and vaccination date. This can be in Swiss national languages, English or Spanish. Only EMA vaccines are accepted i.e. Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen/Johnson&Johnson, AstraZeneca and all licences such as Covishield, etc.
Unvaccinated attendees
If you are not vaccinated, you will need to obtain a covid certificate certifying that you have had a recent antigen test and it was negative. To do this, you will need to take a rapid antigen test before arriving at the venue and be issued with a temporary certificate (valid for 48 hours).
To avoid needing additional tests, you should not take your antigen test any earlier than 20:00 on Tuesday 23rd November to ensure your certificate is valid for the entire event.
Onsite safety measures
In addition to this, we are implementing increased hygiene protocols. Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the venue and we strongly encourage all delegates to frequently sanitize or wash their hands during the event.
In line with government guidelines, masks are not mandatory but we do recommend wearing a mask if you wish to do so.
‘No handshake’ stickers will be available to guests at the registration desk if desired.
Finally, all delegates will be informed to not attend the event if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
