Scatec signs 25-year PPAs for 6 Egyptian solar projects

The 400MW portfolio near Aswan, Upper Egypt, is being developed by Norwegian company Scatec Solar. Investment will be around $450 million with KLP Norfund contributing equity and an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development-led consortium expecting to raise $350 million.
