CenterPoint proposes $250m transmission project for Texas Gulf Coast

Distributor CenterPoint Energy has submitted plans for enhancements to its electric transmission infrastructure to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. The substation upgrades and new transmission line will serve the growing petrochemical industry demands in the Freeport area.
