Second deadline passes for Eskom PPA signings

Eskom has missed the second deadline for the financial close of 37 outstanding PPAs won in round four of South Africa's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPP) in August 2016. Eskom is citing grid overcapacity as the reason for the delay.
