PGNiG plans $1bn investment in renewables division

Polish state-owned oil and gas major PGNiG has pledged up to $1.02 billion to create a dedicated renewable energy division. The company will focus its development on wind and photovoltaic solar power and is planning a 900MW portfolio of renewables capacity.
