Lisbon Metro extension gets €83m EU grant

The European Commission has approved an €83 million grant from the EU Cohesion Fund to support a Lisbon metro network project to connect the city's Yellow and Green lines. The scheme is estimated to cost €216 million ($244 million) and will create a new circular line through the city...
