Sarah Schick killed in tragic accident

Region:
Americas

Sarah Schick, head of P3 for North America at Macquarie, has sadly passed away in an accident. Sarah has been a valued and respected member of the global project finance, energy, and infrastructure market over the past 15 years, holding positions at leading organisations such as Plenary Group, KPMG, Meridiam, and Rothschild. Most recently, she led the landmark Major Bridges P3 project financing, giving generously of her time to provide thoughtful insight into the transaction to this magazine. We offer our condolences to her family and colleagues at this difficult time.

Macquarie has issued the following statement: "Macquarie Group is devastated by the tragic death in an accident of Sarah Schick, who led our Public-Private Partnership efforts in North America at Macquarie Capital in New York. Sarah was a highly accomplished leader, with a true enthusiasm for developing people, and passion for supporting communities with new infrastructure. She was beloved by both her colleagues and partners alike. Our thoughts are with her family, and we will remember her with fondness and admiration."
