SMT Energy sells battery portfolio to UBS AM

Developer SMT Energy has announced the sale of 400MW of battery energy storage projects to UBS Asset Management. The systems are located in Texas and connected to the ERCOT power grid, and are expected to go online in 2024 and 2025. SMT was advised on the transaction by Stoel Rives.
