Celesc receives BNDES funds for solar, hydro projects

BNDES will provide a BRL214.4 million ($39.7 million) loan to support the construction of 29MW of solar and hydropower capacity in the southern state of Santa Catarina.The financing will be used by state-run utility Celesc to install solar panels totalling 5MW along with transmission infrastructure...
